If your scheduled day is ON a Holiday, pick-up will be the following day. If trash is not out, it will not be picked up until your next scheduled pick-up day.

Where can I take my recyclables?

Recyclables can be taken to the County recycling center, located at Platt and Ellsworth Rds. They will accept standard recyclables, such as, plastic # 1 & 2, glass, cans, newspapers, etc. at NO COST to county residents. Call the County recycling center at (734)971-7400 for more information and hours of operation.

Where can township residents take trash, such as, large items and items that regular trash haulers will not pick up?

Washtenaw county beganholding two or more clean-up days at various locations throughout the County.Usually they are held in May and Semtember, having one location on the west side of the County and one location on the east side of the County.
